Help us build the clearest picture yet of the people shaping unmanned aerospace.
The UAV industry is growing rapidly ... across commercial, defence, infrastructure, autonomy, manufacturing, research and beyond.
But how well do we really understand the people behind that growth?
What are they earning?
How experienced are they?
Which skills are becoming most valuable?
What keeps them in the industry?
Where are they working...and where are they moving?
The 2026 Global UAV Talent & Salary Survey is designed to help answer those questions.
Anonymous. Global. Around 5 minutes.
UAV is no longer a purely local industry.
Professionals are working across the UK and Europe, the US, the Middle East, India, Asia-Pacific and beyond.
Yet compensation, regulation, qualifications, career expectations and employment conditions can vary significantly between markets.
We want to understand those differences - while identifying the trends that connect the global UAV workforce.
That's why we are inviting UAV professionals worldwide to take part.
Our 2025 survey gave us the first snapshot.
Responses came from 20+ countries, across 4 currencies and 9 industry verticals, providing a rare insight into the people working across unmanned aerospace.
Three findings particularly stood out:
The most common job satisfaction score.
More than a third of respondents had over a decade of UAV experience.
The UAV talent market is genuinely global.
But a single survey gives us a snapshot.
The 2026 edition will explore not only compensation, but the wider dynamics of the UAV workforce.
The aim is to create a longitudinal view of the UAV workforce - helping the industry understand not just where it is today, but where it is heading.
It takes around five minutes.
Your responses are analysed in aggregate and are not published in a way that identifies individual participants.
By taking part, you are helping create a stronger evidence base for an industry that is developing at extraordinary speed.
And if you choose to leave your email address, you'll also be able to receive:
You don't have to provide an email address to participate.
If you work in unmanned aerospace, we'd like to hear from you.
That includes professionals working in:
Whether you have been in UAV for six months or fifteen years, your experience contributes to the picture.
We welcome responses from across:
UK & Europe | USA & Canada | Middle East | India & Asia | Australia & New Zealand | Africa | Latin America
The objective isn't to assume every market is the same.
It's to understand where they differ - and where the global UAV workforce is converging.
The survey is conducted by UAVTalent, the specialist aerospace talent network built by people with operational experience of the sector.
The resulting research and market intelligence is developed through Rocberg, an independent market-intelligence platform.
Together, this creates a powerful combination:
Industry access + specialist expertise + independent analysis.
The long-term ambition is to build an annual evidence base for the global UAV workforce - allowing the industry to track changes in compensation, experience, skills, mobility and workforce sentiment over time.

The more representative the dataset, the more useful it becomes.
If you work in unmanned aerospace, take five minutes to contribute your experience.
